We need more clean energy, and one great way to move the clean energy market forward is to have the utilities buy more of it. Green Newton is grateful to MA State Representative Kay Khan for filing a bill to increase the Renewable Portfolio Standard by at least 2% each year and require municipal electric utilities – currently exempt — to begin complying with the RPS, driving demand for renewable power and growing our local clean energy industry.
