On March 8 from 3:30-4:30pm in the Drucker Auditorium of the Newton Free Library (330 Homer St., Newton), join Students for a Greener World (SGW) in planting seedlings and plants in small square pots made from newspapers, making a bird feeder from pine cones, crafting spring-related artwork from recycled materials, and meeting animal friends: Tuxie the rabbit, Teddie the tortoise, two Berkshire blue rats and two lively chickens.  We may even have chicken races again– with each other and the tortoise!

Always fun and educational, the event is co-sponsored by Green Newton, Newton Community Farm and the Newton Free Library.
