Green Newton’s Schools Connections Group will meet next on Thursday, March 14 from 3:45 to 5pm in the Druker Auditorium of the Newton Free Library (330 Homer St., Newton). Kids are welcome. The group’s goal is to establish “green standards” for Newton schools and to work on a variety of areas, including recycling, composting, food recovery and school garden projects. Together, we can help to implement green initiatives in each Newton school. If you would like to participate, please contact [email protected].
