On Saturday, January 25 from 1-3pm, the Newton Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Recycling and the Newton Free Library Makerspace is hosting an upcycling event to make your own beeswax food wraps at the Newton Free Library (330 Homer St., Newton). The food wraps are cute, reusable, and reduce the use of plastic wrap. Upcycling at the Makerspace is a program offering opportunities to repurpose materials into useful new items while in the company of others!
