‘Gas Leaks and Transmission Lines’ Talk at Newton Free Library on March 28

On Monday, March 28 at 7 pm, GN continues its Greening Our Community series of environmental lectures with ‘Gas Leaks and Transmission Lines’ featuring Nathan Phillips, Curt Nordgaar and Deb Crossley.

In this talk focusing on the health and safety impacts of the natural gas process chain, the speakers will provide updates on leaks under our streets and sidewalks, as well as the high pressure transmission lines that would commit us to further dependency on gas. An update will also be given on coordinating and tracking gas line repairs with city street work.
