Saving Nature Starts in Your Own Backyard: Native Plant Sale at the Farmers’ Market on August 11

Youth Environmental Entrepreneurship Program (YEEP) will be at the Newton Farmers’ Market (Newton South High School) on Tuesday, August 11 from 2-6pm selling native New England plants. Buy hardy, pollinator-essential native plants—goldenrod, New England Aster, New York Ironweed, and other–from Newton residents Steven Kann and Alex Qui (both students at UMASS Amherst), Cambridge resident Keanan Ng (UMASS Lowell), Belmont resident Matt O’Connell-Vale (Clark University), and Barbara Passero, co-founder of Meadowscaping for Biodiversity (MS4B) (www.meadowmaking.org).
