The federal and Massachusetts state incentives for most electric cars total $10,000. Mass Energy is sponsoring a new limited time program starting November 1 which will add an additional $7,ooo-11,000 discounts for selected dealers and cars – Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric, Chevy Volt (and soon Bolt). Here’s how you can take advantage of this program:
1. Start on massenergy.org/drivegreen by filling out a quick form.
2. Dealers will call you to answer questions and schedule a test drive.
3. Buy your new ride (before the program expires).
4. Green up your ride with wind or solar power (optional).
